Maurice Vesselle Estate

Champagne region

Exclusive, Direct-import from France

Cheers! It’s time for our celebrated Champagne Special Feature and this year, we are pleased to offer an exclusively imported, highly-rated selection from France’s esteemed Maurice Vesselle Estate in the Bouzy county of the Champagne region.

Founded in 1955, Maurice Vesselle is situated on the south flank of the ‘Montagne de Reims,’ a large plateau separating the city of Reims to the north and the Marne River Valley to the south. The vineyards are planted to Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, and all classified 100% Grand Cru. Grand Cru, which is French for great growth, is the highest level of vineyard classification in the Burgundy region.

Today, the Maurice Vesselle estate is run by Maurice’s sons, Didier and Thierry who are dedicated to preserving the natural terroir of their family’s world renowned property. Over the years, the Vesselles have garnered national and international praise for their top notch Champagnes, and the Brut ‘Cuvée Reservee’ Grand Cru Champagne is consistently a best seller. An elegant nose of hazelnuts, brioche, stone fruit, and pears beautifully complements the full, creamy palate of ripe fruit, minerality, clove, nutmeg, and citrus peel flavors. This is a world-class Champagne, and the perfect choice for any celebration!
