Pinot Grigio
White
(Pinot Grigio pronunciation: PEE-noh GREE-zhee-oh)
Pinot Grigio is from Italy. The name Pinot Grigio is also used for Pinot Gris wines from other regions of the world, including the United States, Australia, Argentina, Canada, etc., that are made in that crisp, fresh style.
The Pinot Grigio style of Italy is light-bodied and neutral, with refreshing pear, citrus and mineral flavors and medium acidity. Italy’s best Pinot Grigio grapes grow in the northeastern, cool mountain vineyards. The suggested serving temperature is 50-55 degrees.
Pinot Grigio has been and will be featured again in our International Wine Club as well as our other monthly wine boxes. Saluti!
