Von Holt's 2009 'Suacci Vineyard' Pinot Noir is an excellant vineyard-designated wine from the Sonoma Coast of California. Its aromas of black cherry and pomegranate heighten the rich flavors of wild strawberries, vanilla, black cherries, and orange, creating a powerful complexity on the palate.
Wine & Spirits says, "this wine has the cool, redwood forest scent you get driving the Bohemian Highway. The fruit is bright red cherry, the tannins distinctly briny, with a dark, forest floor tone. Those tannins are broad and ripe..." Rich and satisfying with wonderful complexity.
