68% of the fruit for the Vineyard 1869 2015 Zinfandel comes from the Harvey Vineyard, America’s oldest documented Zinfandel Vineyard as existing since 1869. This is a taste of history! Other fruit sources include Manby Vineyard, DeMille Vineyard, York Vineyard and Coon Vineyard, all within the Amador County appellation. Produced in the Old World style of balanced winemaking, this wine offers briary flavors of blackberry, fig, pomegranate, and violets with hints of coffee and bright currants.
