Since the first U.S. release of this offering just three years ago, the Vina Robles Estate Syrah, has garnered numerous awards and is one of Vina Robles’ most popular wines. A prestigious Double Gold Medal (the judges’ unanimous choice) was awarded to this wine at the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition, then another Gold Medal at the San Diego International Wine Competition.

An elegant, fruit forward Syrah; dark cherry red hue and deep ruby rim with a very pleasant bouquet of ripe cherries with hints of walnuts and dark chocolate. Rich, succulent, blackberry fruit is the driving force of this expansive, well-extracted, full to medium-bodied Syrah. Bold, yet elegant in character; solid in structure and convincing in flavor, this is a ripe, yet well-balanced wine. Try with braised pork chops with maple glaze and garlic mashed potatoes.
