Opening up to oak spice, black cherry and red bing cherry fruit are common features of the Tondré Pinot, and holds true for the 2011 vintage. The characteristic aromas, reflective of the Santa Lucia Highlands, of earth and spice shine through, and makes for a wonderful and complex aromatic experience. The palate shows plush, velvety tannins and spicy characters that mingle with the glorious cherry fruit all the way into the finish.
