The 2009 Pinot Noir is absolutely gorgeous start to finish and loaded with true Pinot Noir black cherry fruit. Aromas of tart red cherries and cola nut entice the nose, while the velvety structure and plush, silky soft tannins make the mouthfeel simply irresistible. The black cherry flavors mingle with the characteristic Santa Lucia Highlands spiciness and the result is a wonderfully balanced wine that truly shows off its region's terroir.
