The 2018 Deux Chevaux Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is Tamber Bey Vineyards’ original wine and a classic representation of Napa Valley-floor Cabernet. With richness and well-balanced, approachable elegance, this wine is a stunner. On the nose, aromas of black raspberry, cassis, crushed rock and cigar box are intermingled with a touch of allspice. These nuances beautifully complement the flavors of blackberry, cassis, vanilla bean and a spice mix of clove, nutmeg and allspice. Firm tannins and spiced dark fruit linger on the lengthy finish.
