An homage to the “garagistes” tradition of crafting small lots of outstanding fruit in an environment other than a French Châteaux (in this case, in a garage in the 1970’s), Taft Street’s 2007 ‘Garagistes’ Pinot Noir is deep reddish purple in color with distinct varietal notes of blackberry, boysenberry and cherry. Balanced acidity and intriguing oak undertones lead into an elegant finish.

Produced from the highly elevated Mendocino Ridge, this wine is classic Pinot Noir, and one of the most sought after from this prestigious area. There's no doubt since this wine one a whopping 98 Point rating, a Double Gold Medal, Best of Class and Best in Region at the California State Fair Wine Competition.
