Of all the grapes of Germany, the most noble is the Riesling - a variety that produces elegant wines of rich character with an incomparable fragrance and flavor, and it is made into sweet, semi-sweet, sparkling and dry wines. Riesling originated in the Rhine region of Germany and is the country's most widely planted grape variety.
The Stromberg-Zabergäu 2016 Brackenheim Riesling is dry and very extravagant in style with its fruity notes of citrus and apple, which are very characteristic of the cooler-climate German Rieslings. The palate is fresh, crisp, and elegant with a nice balance between fruit and mineral flavors.
