Sojourn’s 2009 Russian River Valley Pinot Noir is a blend of two vineyards, offering a beautiful expression of the Pinot varietal and the cool climate it excels in. The Russian River Valley has been the epicenter for high quality Pinot Noir in California since the 1970’s and it remains a prominent source for several benchmark wines, including the highly rated Sojourn Pinots that are nearly impossible to get your hands on.

Winemaker Erich Bradley selected the Suacci Vineyard along the southern border of the appellation to provide a core of fine-grained tannins and bright aromatics, and he matched it with Sapphire Hill Vineyard fruit from further north to add body, lush textures, and darker flavor components.

The resulting blend has a firm balanced structure with multiple layers of fruit and earth – it screams classic Russian River Valley!
