Sinor-LaVallee’s ‘Black Label’ is reserved for ultra-limited wines that offer the fullest expression of Bassi Vineyard in San Luis Obispo County; these wines are all about power and richness. On the nose, the 2018 ‘Black Label’ Pinot Noir offers heady, jammy aromas of black cherry, blueberry, anise, and baking spice. The palate is bright and luscious, flooding the mouth with full bodied flavors of boysenberry and blackberry jam, along with hints of cola, plum, spice, and forest floor. A smooth, velvety finish gains lift with a lingering kiss of fresh acidity. Enjoy!
