A blend of fruit from Mendocino County and Sonoma County appellations within the North Coast of California, the Silvia 2019 Chardonnay is well balanced and refreshing with subtle complexities in the aromas and flavors. Antonio Silvia utilized his signature Sicilian style with this wine, blending Chardonnay that was fermented in stainless steel tanks with Chardonnay that was fermented in neutral oak. The oak provides hints of vanilla and enhances the mouthfeel, while the stainless steel preserves the naturally vibrant fruit flavors. This wine offers flavors of tangerine and lemon with a lush mid-palate that blends into a long vanilla bean-accented finish.
