A blend of 65% Grenache and 35% Mourvèdre, the 2017 “Cassidy” Rhône-style Blend is one of Seven Oxen’s signature wines. Produced from the organically-farmed estate Seven Oxen Vineyard, this wine shows off the wonderful character of Paso Robles’ Templeton Gap on the famed Westside of the region. The 2017 “Cassidy” is bright and fruit forward on the nose with aromas of strawberry and hints of mint. Flavors of licorice, black tea, maraschino cherries, and leather come through on the lush and beautifully balanced palate before leading into a long finish.
