The Scott Harvey 2006 "J & S Reserve" Barbera is produced from the Mamby and Harvey Vineyards of the Shenandoah Valley in Amador County, California. Awarded the distinguished Platinum Medal at the New World International Wine Competition, the 2006 ‘J & S Reserve’ Barbera (named for Jana and Scott) is a winning vintage at Scott Harvey Wines and confirms that Barbera is one of the best varieties suited for the mountain appellation.
Fruit forward in style, this wine shows rich full flavors expressing both the varietal and the Amador terroir. The Barbera is complex and has notes of cherries, tobacco and blackberry with a bright center finishing with vanilla and spice.
