Sciandri Family Vineyards’ 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon was produced from the family’s estate vineyard in the Coombsville Appellation of Napa Valley. Dark ruby in color, this Cabernet Sauvignon is rich, ripe and fruity and the quintessential expression of this world-renowned sub region of Napa Valley.
Complex earthy aromas showcase the distinguishing character of the gravely loam soils found in the Coombsville vineyard, a trait many refer to as ‘Coomsville Dirt.’ This distinct aroma blends with notes of blackberry, cherry and cassis. Dark fruit flavors combine with black currant, mocha and a hint of oak on the round, well balanced palate and carry through on a long finish. The gripping tannins will allow this Cabernet Sauvignon to age very nicely.
