An awesome Napa Valley Cabernet at an amazing price! Salva Tierra’s 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon is the product of three outstanding vineyards, Shooting Star Vineyard of Napa’s Pope Valley, Griffin’s Lair Vineyard of the Sonoma Coast, and Tres Perlas Vineyeard of Napa’s Stags Leap District. The wine is crafted with a deep respect for terroir and it captures the beautiful character of its primary vineyard source, Shooting Star Vineyard. Known for its warmer, continental temperatures, the Shooting Star Vineyard yields wines of depth and finesse, with super smooth tannins that soften the wine, bringing out its elegance and making it enjoyable even at an early age.

This Cabernet from Salva Tierra (which translates to “salt of the earth”) exudes depth and richness while still maintaining a smooth and silky texture – so typical of world class Napa Valley Cabernets. The aromas are very fruit forward, dominated by blackberry notes and underlying cassis and anise, while the mouthfeel is deep and rich, with plenty of bold tannins to stand up to a number of food pairing options. The Beverage Tasting Institute awards the Salva Tierra 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon 92 Points and a Gold Medal, calling the wine “Exceptional.”
