A mountain-grown blend of 33% Cabernet Franc, 23% Merlot, 18% Malbec, 16% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 10% Petit Verdot, the 2016 ‘The Cache’ Bordeaux-style blend offers complexity and perfumy notes on the nose with subtle pinches of spice. The Merlot and Malbec give the wine its rich texture, which is balanced by the brooding ripe blackberry and sweet cherry flavor profile. Hints of vanilla come through on the finish.
