A wonderful scent of ripe black-cherries. It is full and warm in the mouth, rich in extract, complex with a pleasantly soft taste due to the delicate tannins developed in barrel aging. Legacy Fernando Rivetto planted the Barbera producing vineyard between 1944-45 by hand, in his honor the family named it Zio Nando. The first bottle of Barera D'Alba was produced in 1950. Here's to over 50 years of producing one of the regions best Barbera.
