The Wine Spectator says this wine has "a pretty core of rich citrus, pear & lemon flavors. Tight and focused, with balance and length." Blended with 22% Sémillon, this wine was partially barrel fermented and then aged in French Oak for additional complexity and longevity. Expansive fruit flavors and a hint of spicy vanilla oak character. The silky mouthfeel and creamy texture of the wine suggest enjoyment both as an apéritif and as a complement to a wine variety of foods.
