The 2004 Casa Das Mouras Tinto Reserva is a red blend produced by the Quinta da Veiga Winery in the famed Duoro region of Portugal. The blend consists of three grape varietals: Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, and Tinta Roriz. Touriga Nacional is considered one of the finest native varietals of Portugal and is used predominantly to make Port wine. Touriga Franca offers a mix of fruit and wildflower notes to the blend, while Tinta Roriz incorporates spicy nuances. The 2004 Casa Das Mouras is a complex, aromatic wine reminiscent of violets with rich notes of blueberries, roses, black tea, chocolate, coffee, and balsamic.
