A striking wine, the 2010 Red Blend Priest Ranch Coach Gun bursts from the glass with layers of vibrant dark fruit. Mocha, espresso and black cherries are some of the many nuances that emerge over time. The 2010 has more inner sweetness and pure depth than the 2009, but quite a bit more structure as well, both of which lead me to think it will require at least a few additional years of cellaring to drink at its finest. A dark, sculpted finish rounds out this promising, deeply expressive wine.
