Ribera del Duero is one of the most celebrated red wine regions in Spain; it is located in the north central section of the country. While vineyards have been planted in this territory for thousands of years, the designation of this area as an official wine region (a D.O or Denominacion de Origen) was created in the 1970s.
The grapes selected for Pinna Fidelis' 2011 Reserva come from some of the top vineyards in the region, resulting in a bright, complex wine. Lively, fruity and earthy, this wine has aromas of baked cherry, beech mushrooms, and turned earth. On the palate this Tempranillo is chewy and vibrant with a dry, medium-full body and a warm, compelling, breezy finish. Notes of woody tannins and moderate oak can also be found.

Chile Rellenos al Horno
