Peltier Station's 2006 Zinfandel was produced from 40-year-old vines in Lodi, California. these famously thick, gnarled and twisted Old Zinfandel vines of Lodi in California's Central Valley contribute to intense concentrated flavors in the grapes, which in turn lead to wines that are deep and rich, with bold, zesty aromas and ripe berry fruit flavors.

Peltier Station's 2006 Zinfandel starts off with subtle hints of cherry and berry aromas which explode onto your palate! Enhanced with white pepper, exotic spices and balanced tannins, the finish is covered with black licorice notes that linger on the palate and beg for smoked meats, roast leg of lamb, spicy grilled meats, and even brie cheeses with sweet fig jam on top.

This wonderfully food-friendly wine is also a multi-award winner, taking home a Tri-Medal from the Lodi International Wine Awards, a Silver Medal at the San Francicso Wine Competition, and a Silver Medial at the Dallas Morning News Wine Competition.
