The varietal that originally put Peltier Winery on the map, Petite Sirah is grown on the Schatz Family’s estate in Lodi, California where the classic Mediterranean climate of warm, sunny days and cool evening breezes from the San Francisco Delta creates a perfect setting for producing balanced, full-favored wines. Peltier’s 2015 Black Diamond Petite Sirah offers aromas of ripe plum, fresh fruit and brown sugar that complement the flavors of raspberry and hints of black licorice. A well-balanced and big middle palate are sustained by a bold, long finish. Petite Sirah is the perfect match of a hearty Bolognese Sauce, Rib Eye, Pork Roast, Chicken and Waffles, or Al Pastor Street Tacos.
