A blend of fruit from Alexander Valley, Dry Creek Valley, and Mendocino County, the Outlot 2017 Chardonnay is complex and nicely balanced with an incredible brightness that shines through. The vineyards are each planted to a range of Chardonnay clones, from the famed and perfumed Dijon clones, to the fleshy clone 17, and the tropical clone 4. Through small-lot fermentation, the team enhanced the distinction of each clone, and then blended in proportions that brought out the best of each to the resulting wine.

Golden yellow in color, this Chardonnay offers aromas of pear, fig and tropical fruit. On the palate, stone fruit flavors are complemented by pretty notes of balanced oak and undertones of butterscotch and vanilla. The initial creaminess on the palate evolves into a crisp and refreshing finish. Enjoy!
