The Machado Creek Vineyard is a beautiful landscape tucked into the eastern side of the Santa Cruz Mountains. Located just outside Gilroy, and nestled into the hillside, this vineyard grows rich and balanced Rhône and Italian-style varietals over an extended growing season. The Odonata 2019 Sangiovese is an extremely food-friendly wine with wonderful earthy-fruity complexities and layers from start to finish. On the nose, aromas of strawberries, cinnamon, leather and earth lead into soft fruit flavors on the round, well-balanced palate. Enjoy!
