Niner Wine Estates’ 2004 Fog Catcher earns its name from the fog the grapes ‘catch’ each morning, which allows the fruit to stay on the vines longer and furthers the flavor development before harvest. Produced from the famed Bootjack Ranch property, the 2004 Fog Catcher is the proud recipient of a Best of Varietal, Best of Class, and a Gold Medal from the New World Wine Competition. This flagship wine was also awarded a Gold Medal by the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition, a Gold Medal by the International Eastern Wine Competition, and a Gold Medal by the Orange County Fair Wine Competition.

This special blend boasts aromas of dark fruit, dried flowers, clove and pepper with a hint of mint, dark roast coffee and smoky toasty oak. In the mouth, this complex wine is full-bodied, concentrated and intense. It has wonderful texture, layers of dark fruit, spice and oak, a smooth, rich aftertaste and a long finish.
