MoonWalker Cellars’ 2012 Pinot Noir was crafted from vineyards in the Santa Maria Valley and Los Alamos regions of Santa Barbara County. Each of these cool-climate locations see maritime influences (ocean breezes) that are perfect for producing Burgundian-style varietals.
The MoonWalker 2012 Pinot Noir was barrel aged for 2 years prior to release, allows the flavors and aromas to soften with oak influence. This wine offers layers of earthy, savory flavors wrapped around a core of red fruits and spice. Notes of mushrooms, plums and baking spices dance on the palate and linger on the softly textured finish.
