Pinot Noirs from the Marlborough region of New Zealand are characteristically fresh with subtle acidity and bright, balanced flavors of raspberry, cherry and plums. These wines are especially known for capturing the ideal balance of Old World structure and elegance with New World power and intensity.
The Mission Estate 2014 Pinot Noir Reserve was crafted with fruit from an estate vineyard in the Awatere Valley of Marlborough, New Zealand. Bright ruby red in color, this Pinot Noir opens with a sweet floral bouquet of red cherries, strawberries, and spicy notes. The palate is softly textured and medium bodied, carrying an abundance of sweet fruit flavors and ripe, silky tannins that linger on a rich, long finish.
