Midnight Cellars' 2005 Mare Nectaris Reserve is a proprietary Bordeaux-style Red Blend, comprised of grapes grown on their estate Paso Robles vineyard.
50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 19% Merlot, 13% Malbec, 12% Petit Verdot, and 6% Cabernet Franc, the 2005 Mare Nectaris Reserve is inky violet in color with rich and complex aromas and flavors of chocolate, mint, blueberry pie crust, and Asian spices. Super silky with a dry-yet-fruity body, this elegant and polished red wine delivers a long, smooth finish that lingers on the palate.
The Beverage Tasting Institute's World Wine Championships awards the Midnight Cellars 2005 Mare Nectaris Reserve 93 Points, a Gold Medal, and names it "Exceptional."
