Produced from the quaint Coombsville district of Napa Valley, Mi Sueño's 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon is big, beautiful, and luscious with plenty of ripe black fruits and rich, vibrant flavors that truly characterize this extraordinary winegrowing region. Coombsville's reputation has continued to grow over the past several years, and for good reason - although warm during the day, the evenings in Coombsville are significantly cooler than the rest of the valley, and as a result, the grapes receive an extended ripening period for intense flavor development.
Mi Sueño's 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon captures the essence of this eastern valley region and Wine Enthusiast rates it 92 Points, applauding its truly distinctive appeal: "Rolando Herrera brings his deft touch to Cabernet. He captures the ripe blackberry and black currant fruit of Napa Valley, yet retains a lovely structure. The result is a dry, richly tannic wine that should age well over the next 6-8 years, but drinks beautifully now." Mi Sueño's 2006 Cabernet also garnered a Best of Class from the American Fine Wine Competition. Enjoy this Platinum Wine Club selection with lamb chops, wild mushroom risotto, and hearty casseroles.
