A Gold Medal Wine Club Exclusive Offering! This delicious wine won a Gold Medal in the only competition it was entered. It is the Meeker Vineyard's first release from the designated Scharf Family property, a 5 acre vineyard just up the road from the winery. This wine is "Ripe and intense," says the Wine Spectator, which rated it an 84. "[The wine] displays spicy, peppery aromas and a solid, compact core of black cherry and currant flavor. Finishes with firm, crisp tannins."
A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot creating a melange of fruit in a traditional Bordeaux style. Pair it with classic beef dishes like Beef Wellington or a favorite deal dish.
