A blend of 78% Syrah, 14% Montepulciano, and 8% Refosco, Grenache and Alicante Bouschet, the McEvoy Ranch 2014 'Red Piano' Syrah offers layers of complexity with distinct McEvoy Ranch terroir sazZvoriness. The opening aromas are definitely floral with a touch of white pepper and black tea, while the palate offers flavors of brandied cherries, currants, cranberry, ripe plum and brambleberry. As it opens, underlying notes of graphite, leather, dried mushrooms, and black peppercorn come through with seamlessly integrated tannins.
