The Mathew Bruno 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon hails from Rutherford, directly in the heart of Napa Valley's most coveted land for fine Cabernet Sauvignon. The vineyard was originally planted by Mrs. Thomas Rutherford in 1895 and in the years following, Georges de Latour purchased the vineyard and named it Beaulieu Vineyard Number 3. Many acclaimed wines originated from this vineyard, including wines made by Andre Tchelistcheff whose wines became the definition of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon in the 1960's and 1970's.

A complex, structured and luscious Cabernet, this wine shows layers of black cherry, currant, sweet spice and mocha with a supple mouthfeel and toasty oak flavors that are effortlessly balanced by firm tannins and bright acidity - the essence of what a Cabernet Sauvignon should be. Enjoy!
