Lone Madrone’s 2006 Bailey Ranch Zinfandel comes from a small Certified Organic vineyard located on Paso Robles’ west side region. Awarded a Gold Medal at the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition, this elegant, refined wine finds a wonderful balance between vibrant, bold fruit flavors and sophisticated complexities, defining the true Lone Madrone Winery style. Candied red apple, ollalieberry, and cherry aromas come through on the nose, with distinctive hints of pepper and nutmeg that lead into a full, juicy red fruit palate supported by youthful tannins. Days of flavor slowly fade to a receding tide of crushed red fruit, specked with red apple peel and pomegranate. Simply delicious!
