From one of Napa Valley’s finest producers comes the rich, intense and spicy Lewis Cellars 2007 Syrah. Crafted from hillside mountain blocks within Napa Valley, the 2007 Syrah is Lewis’ “muscle car” – the big-block powered bottle from the estate’s growing Rhône wine line-up.

Connoisseurs’ Guide rates the Lewis Syrah a well-deserved (and hard-to-get!) 95 Points: “Positively brimming with succulent ripe-berry fruit and awash in lovely oak, this opulent but beautifully balanced working shows both fine fruity muscle and a careful winemaking hand. Its scant notes of pepper bring it a quite varietal twist, while its ongoing themes of blackberries, vanilla, crème brulee and its accents of minerals make for a deep, involving eminently satisfying wine. It has so much going on that it will tempt early drinking, but its fine structure and sure sense of extract are the prerequisites for a very long aging cycle.”

Wine Spectator awards the Lewis 2007 Syrah an impressive 94 Points, calling it “delicate, balanced, full-bodied and persistent.” A beautiful bottling to add to the Lewis Cellars’ coveted wine portfolio!
