Estate grown from LaBarge’s Certified Organic (CCOF) vineyards in the Sta. Rita Hills AVA of Santa Barbara County, the 2018 Grenache is a beautiful cool-climate expression of this popular Mediterranean varietal. Aromas of boysenberry, elderberry, dried purple flowers and dark peppery spices show on the nose of this luscious wine, while the palate is lively with lots of power. Flavors of bright red fruits, elderberry, loamy earth, wild mint, and violets swirl around a firm core of well-structured yet soft tannins. The Grenache finishes with lingering nuances of strawberries. Enjoy!
