The 2016 vintage of this unusual grape is a fantastic representation of the area’s terroir. Fragrant and bright, this wine opens up with aromas of earthy, forest floor and tart red berries. The palate provides an abundance of smooth and expressive flavors that mimic the nose, offering layers of zesty red cherry, pomegranate and dusty earth. You can expect soft and polished tannins which give it nice weight and depth, leading into a medium-length, fruitful finish.
