An internationally acclaimed winery featuring handcrafted, Old World-inspired wines from Oregon’s Willamette Valley, J. Christopher is the story of two winemakers, one from the Old World and one from the New World, with a lifelong passion for Pinot Noir. Ernst Loosen, the famed Riesling producer behind Germany’s Dr. Loosen and Villa Wolf wineries and Oregon winemaker Jay Somers teamed up and created a beautiful, sustainably-driven winery that has seen much success since its start. In fact, over the last decade, J. Christopher has been named a Wine & Spirits World Top 100 Winery four times.
The J. Christopher 2019 Estate Pinot Noir Rosé hails from the winery’s esteemed Appassionata and Medici Estate Vineyards in the Chehalem Mountains of Oregon’s Willamette Valley. Unfiltered, this Rosé has wonderfully fresh acidity and minerality while still maintaining a nice round mouthfeel and flavors of grapefruit, strawberries and lemon zest. Cheers!
