Iron Horse Vineyard's sparkling wines have been served at the White House during four presidential administrations, beginning with the Reagan-Gorbachev Summit Meeting in Geneva on November 20, 1985, which led to the end of the Cold War. The Iron Horse 2001 Blanc de Blancs is an excellent vintage. It is ethereal - like drinking a cloud. It seems to effervesce away in your mouth and tastes like, among other flavors, a perfectly browned, lightly buttered slice of sourdough toast.
