Produced from a pair of vineyards in the Yarra and King Valleys of Victoria, Australia, the Innocent Bystander 2017 Pinot Gris is a superbly quaffable wine. Aromas of freshly cut pears, snow pea shoots and lemon thyme complement the lively palate with flavors of lime flowers, miso, and fresh minerality. Crisp, complex, bone dry and moreish with a tangy lemon sorbet finish, the Innocent Bystander 2017 Pinot Gris pairs well with beer-battered whiting with chips and tartare, fresh oysters, goat cheese and char-grilled vegetables.
