The venerated Shiraz grape is Australia’s premier varietal. This excellent Estate example is colored vibrant red with additional ruby hues. The aroma opens with dark chocolate and extends to a touch of fruit cake laced with vanillin oak. Palate wise, a plethora of blackberries and black currants are followed by the soft taste of black olives. The finish is perceptibly long and succulent and is followed by a perfect blending of tannins.
Pair a Milanese Osso Buco (veal shank) in a rich tomato sauce or another hearty meat with this wine. 100% Shiraz that was aged in American Oak (25% new) before bottling for 18 months. Ready to drink now and enjoy until 2026.
