Grapes selected for this Silver Medal winning Sauvignon Blanc are from the Russian River Valley, Alexander Valley and Valley of the Moon. It also received a first place award at the Vintner's Club tasting in San Francisco. Fifty percent of this blend was barrel fermented in new Nevers oak, then cradled in the same barrels for an additional six weeks. Creamy oak commented with the aromas of juicy citrus fruit and generous honeydew melon.

The San Francisco Chronicle's, The Wine Page, reported the wine as "complex and luscious on the palate, excellent acidity" and The Northwest Palate experts say the wine has "an alluring delicacy. Crisp, ripe, spicy apple flavors show some toastiness. Excellent balance. Lingering juicy aftertaste."
