Produced from high-altitude vineyards in Vista Flores, within the Uco Valley of Mendoza, Argentina, the Gran Famiglia Bianchi 2017 Corte is a wine that expresses the diversity of varietals that can thrive in this distinctive terroir. A blend of 59% Malbec, 23% Petit Verdot, 11% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 3% Tannat, the 2017 Corte has great body and structure with sweet tannins and a persistent finish. On the nose, intense aromas of red berries, plums and violets blend with notes of spices and quince. The full-bodied flavors mimic the aromas, with an added splash of minerality as is typical of the region. Enjoy!
