Produced from the famed Chalk Hill AVA of Sonoma County, the G&C Lurton 2016 Merlot is remarkable for its very intense aromas and complex flavors. The nose shows dominant notes of fresh red currant, while the palate finds a great balance between freshness and power. This wine is voluptuous and smooth with finely textured tannins, a full-bodied mouthfeel, and a long finish with undertones of vanilla that are subtly brought by the fine toasted oak. Enjoy!
