The Frank Family 2013 S&J Vineyard Reserve Petite Sirah comes from an estate vineyard located east of the Vaca Mountain Range in Napa’s Capell Valley. This warm vineyard site, named for Rich Frank’s grandchildren (Stella and Jeremy), produces rich, luscious wines that tend to have the perfect balance of grace and power. Deep ruby red in color, this 2013 Reserve Petite Sirah is a voluptuous, rich wine with a seductive blend of blackberry, ripe plum, licorice, black tea and clove flavors. The full body is supported by fresh acidity, which gives the wine its excellent balance. Flavors of black fruit, dark chocolate and spice continue through on the long finish.
