Named for founder Thomas Baldacci’s four sons, the 2009 Four Sons ‘Fraternity’ Red Blend is a blend from the winery’s two estate vineyards – one in Napa Valley’s Stags Leap District and one in Carneros. This special wine features four varietals (Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc) and is a true tribute that differing personalities form the strongest of bonds. Baldacci’s Four Sons 2009 ‘Fraternity’ Red Blend is a powerful, full-bodied wine with aromas of vine-ripened raspberries, cherries, coffee, tea leaves, white chocolate and caramel and lingering flavors of plums, wild berry, vanilla, and a dash of mocha. Robert Parker says “The 2009 impresses for its juiciness and fabulous overall balance.”
