The Fog Crest 2011 'Laguna West' Pinot Noir is a thoughtful blend of Pinot grapes from three vineyards in the highly regarded Russian River Valley, all of which are west of the Laguna de Santa Rosa and sustainably farmed. This exquisite Pinot Noir has complex aromas of bright red cherry, plum, currant, cola and spice with hints of cranberry, hibiscus, cloves and rosemary. On the palate, flavors of cranberry and dark cherry blend together and lead into a silky, fruit finish.
Wine Regions of the World
All six of our wine of the month clubs include wines from a multitude of wine growing regions, and as the French say, the concept of terroir is paramount. This idea stretches well beyond France and is a large contributing factor for wines produced in all wine regions around the world.
