The incredible Sta. Rita Hills AVA and its cool climate is responsible for this interesting and vibrant Grenache. The black-purple color sets off the nose that suggests a light candied essence with great acidity and even a smokey under-tone. Ripe cherry graces the palate and is accompanied by a plum and watermelon profile with caramel, raspberry, green tea and cola persisting to the end. Chill this wine for freshness and taste. This unfined and unfiltered Grenache is excellent for picnics with lite fare and even light casseroles.
